Chinatown, New York

Dragon Land Bakery

Jo Anne and AJ stopped in the bakery to buy cookies and to cool off with a drink. It was 78 degrees in Chinatown today, and the rain had finally stopped.

Chinatown Park

I met this musician playing the erhu a two-stringed Chinese violin. New Yorkers love music. It's not unusual to see musicians playing for money in the streets, parks, and even in the subway stations.

Chess in the Park

It was a fine day and such good weather was too precious to waste indoors. This little park at the end of Mulberry Street was crowded with people. Many of them were avid chess players, like this old man.

My name's on the marquee! It's not Broadway, but it's close enough.
